Do you need to take action?
Your child is currently registered for the APEEE Woluwe canteen for the 2026–2027 school year, which is why you are receiving this message.
If you no longer wish your child to use the canteen service and would like to cancel their registration, please contact us at cantine@woluweparents.org.
A new registration is required for:
- new students joining the school;
- pupils transferring from P5 Evere to S1 Woluwe.
New registrations must be completed through your APEEE Secured Zone.
We strongly recommend that all parents check their child’s canteen registration and the selected days before the start of the school year.
Wednesday – Important information
OIB Wednesday Afternoon Childcare (S1–S2)
If your child is enrolled in the Wednesday Afternoon Childcare service organised by the European Commission’s OIB, please do not register them for an APEEE hot meal on Wednesdays. Lunch is already included in the childcare registration fee.
APEEE Extracurricular Activities and/or Supervision
If your child attends Wednesday supervision and/or a Wednesday extracurricular activity, you may register them for the Wednesday canteen service so that they can receive a hot meal.
Please note that extracurricular activities start on 21 September 2026.
Keyfob
🍽️ Canteen access
The keyfob allows the automatic entrance gates to verify that your child is entitled to access the canteen that day.
The keyfob itself does not replace a canteen registration. Your child must have a valid canteen registration for the relevant day. Registrations are made through the APEEE Secured Zone.
Each student may use:
- one keyfob;
- one entrance per day.
Occasional Meals
For an occasional meal (9.80€), parents and/or pupils must reserve and pay in advance online or on the day via one of the kiosk in the refectory. The meal is then loaded onto the student’s keyfob, which grants access on the selected day.
☕ Cafeteria payments
The same keyfob will also be used to pay for purchases made in the cafeteria. Once topped up online or via one of the payment kiosks, it can be used to purchase food and drinks.
To allow everyone time to adapt to the new system, cash and bank card payments will continue to be accepted until 31 October 2026.
The kiosks, located in the refectory & cafeteria, allow students to:
- top up the keyfob using a bank card;
- purchase an occasional meal (€9.80), payable by bank card or keyfob.
The available balance can be viewed at any time via the mobile application or the online platform.
Food offer
The menus for the self-service & the offer for the cafeteria are available here. The food offer will be kept under constant review throughout the year to continue adapting to the needs of the secondary-only student population.
Keyfob distribution, loss & replacement
Pupils with a canteen subscription will receive their keyfob on 3 September with the support of the class teachers. For pupils who do not have a canteen subscription they may be collected from the canteen office (located near the canteen refectory).
A refundable €10 per key fob deposit will be charged on your first invoice, to be issued at the end of the first term. The same deposit will also apply if a replacement key fob is required. The deposit will be refunded in full when the pupil permanently leaves the school provided that the key fob is returned.
If the keyfob is lost, please contact the canteen office as soon as possible by telephone, email or in person so that it can be deactivated and replaced.
The parent platforms
Please note that two separate platforms are used for two different purposes.
