Updated on 25th June 2022.

The FAQ was updated on 25th June 2022.

The expected price increases are due to increased costs, such as costs for food purchase, energy price increase, and salary indexation of staff hired by the APEEE (canteen staff, etc.); the latter factor imposed by Belgian law.

The current forecast of price increase for the APEEE 2022-2023 school year is similar to the situation in Belgium as it depends on external factors, as well as on internal factors, e.g., on the number of registrations to our services, the availability of canteen space. We will only know the significance of internal factors in September 2022. Therefore, estimated price increases are (current situation, subject to change):

Canteen service Woluwe:

APEEE expects a price increase between 15% and 20%

For your information, the prices for 2022-2023 are:

  • Nursery: €6.36 per meal
  • Primary: €7.25 per meal
  • Secondary: €7.64 per meal
