Terms & Conditions

The APEEE has revised its Terms & Conditions. We highly recommend that you carefully read the Terms & Conditions which are available here.


All parents received a message regarding the price increase for the APEEE services for the 2023-2024 school year.

  • Nursery: €6,36 per meal 
  • Primary: €7,25 per meal 
  • Secondary: €7,64 per meal 

The price you pay covers the following costs: ingredients, cost of table service (previously covered by the Commission), operating costs (APEEE payroll, including industrial injuries insurance).

The Canteen Service Group reserves the right to adjust the subscription rates and meal ticket prices anytime.

Meal ticket and subscription


We offer subscriptions of 3, 4 or 5 (fixed) days per week. to be specified on the registration form.
If you subscribe for meals 3 days a week, only the food cost (2.04€ for nursery – 2.34€ for primary – 2.44€ for secondary) will be deducted from the bill, so you will still be billed for the fixed costs.


Meal tickets, to be used on Wednesdays only, are available at the canteen office for € 7.


There are three school terms:

  • from September to the Christmas holidays
  • from January to the Easter holidays
  • from Easter to July

You will receive an invoice each term. Please do not pay until you have received the invoice.
The subscription covers meals for the whole school year, however:

  • 2.04€ for nursery – 2.34€ for primary – 2.44€ for secondary (*) will be deducted automatically from the bill for each meal missed because of school trips (farm, seaside, winter sports, and second-year and sixth-year secondary).
  • 2.04€ for nursery – 2.34€ for primary – 2.44€ for secondary (*) will be deducted automatically from the bill for each meal missed during the 5th-, 6th– and 7th-year secondary intermediate exams. If pupils wish to take a school meal during these exam periods, they can buy a ticket upon the show of the student card.
  • At the school year’s end, the subscription ends on the first day of exams.

(*): Amount representing the food cost.



Our bills are sent out at the beginning of each term and payable by the stated date.
Payment method:

  • By bank transfer: you must use the structured communication on the transfer form.


The canteen only reimburses meals not taken by pupils who leave school during the term. There is no refund in case of illness of the pupil.

However, if a pupil is admitted to hospital and will miss school for at least two consecutive weeks, the food cost will be refunded per meal missed, provided the parents inform the canteen office at least one week in advance.

Social Fund

Parents facing severe financial difficulties may apply to the Social Fund of the Parents Association for a price reduction by completing the application form from the canteen office.

The application must be submitted before the term or school year starts, and a new application must be made each year. If the application is not accepted, meals will be billed at the usual rate.

The information on the form will remain confidential and not be divulged by the Social Fund.

Non-payment of subscription

If parents fail to pay the subscription fee, their children may be permanently excluded from the canteen. There is no possibility of appeal concerning the exclusion decision.

If there is no reaction to our second and final reminder, we will put the matter into the hands of our bailiff to recover the sum which is owed. As a last resort, the case will be given to our lawyer.

Canteen service without a valid subscription or ticket on Wednesdays

Access to the refectory is reserved for pupils with a lunch subscription (or in possession of a meal ticket on Wednesdays only), with no exceptions. The school provides a separate room for students who bring a packed lunch. Any pupil without a valid subscription or ticket will get a penalty fee of:

  • 1st offence: warning
  • 2nd offence: 25 € 
  • 3rd and following offences: 70 € 

It is understood that the pupil will still not get access to the canteen service.
Checks are made regularly.
