New Date – Register to the FooDfest 2023 🎈

Message from the FooDfest Organisation Committee

Dear Evere school community,

Here we go again with a new date (and hopefully with full sunshine) for the Foodfest in our school:

When: Friday 23rd June 2023

Time: 10:00-13:00

Where: European School Brussels 2 (Evere site) – the school courtyard

Please register at FOODFEST @ EEB2-EVERE June 23, 2023 (10:00 AM – 13:00 PM) (office.com).  In order to attend the event it is essential that all names and car registrations are preregistered to attend the event. Please bring with you your EU badges and/or IDs. If you have already registered in May – no need to re-register!

We are still looking for volunteers to help out with overseeing the activities: (please contact everefamilyday@evereparents.org for the document). If you have already registered in May – no need to re-register!

Parents from each class are encouraged to bring with them some samples of food from their cultures to share on the day (please contact your class representative to coordinate this).  Each class will have a table allocated in the playground for display of this food.

The class representatives are asked to liaise with the class teacher in order to plan the a small class activity (eg. bricolage, colouring, balloon twisting, etc) . These activities will serve as additional attractions for the children on top of the bouncy castles and vintage games prepared by the school.

At the end of Foodfest parents are asked to leave the site by 14.00 at the latest to allow safe access for the school buses. You can take your children home after the event from 13.00-14.00.  Please ensure you clearly prearrange this with the class teacher by agenda or email!

We look forward to seeing you & your family!

📢 European Summit 2024

As announced in the national media, the European Summit will take place on the 17th April and 18th April 2024, which could cause major disruption to the capital’s road network.

The disruption is expected to start at 07:00 and could affect the APEEE school transport service. Due to this situation, we anticipate the risk of delays and/or cancellations to the usual routes. The transport service will keep the concerned parents informed in real time.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and patience in this exceptional circumstance. We will do our best to minimise disruption.

Best regards,

APEEE Bxl II Transport
