Dear parents,

The registrations for the APEEE services (school bus, school canteen, extracurricular activities) for the school year 2024-2025 will start soon. The APEEE wishes to inform you about the price increases which are to be expected for next school year.

The expected price increase is based on the budgetary forecast for the next school year. Final prices will be communicated once the registration process to our services is closed during the month of October 2024. It is our intention to keep the price increase within the margins communicated below, unless the situation changes due to factors beyond our control.

The foreseen price increase for the supply of our services in the school year 2024-2025 is mainly due to the inflation rates which continue to have an impact on our overall costs (persisting increase of the costs for food purchase, bus rentals, and mandatory salary indexation for the APEEE staff). The current forecast of price increase for the APEEE 2024-2025 school year is similar to the situation in Belgium as it depends on external factors, as well as on internal factors, e.g., on the number of registrations to our services, the availability of canteen space, the number of buses. We will only know the significance of internal factors in October 2024. Therefore, estimated price increases are (current situation, subject to change):

Canteen service Woluwe

APEEE expects a price increase between 4% and 6%.

For your information the prices for 2023-2024 were:

• Nursery: €6,36 per meal 
• Primary: €7,25 per meal 
• Secondary: €7,64 per meal 
• Cafeteria pricing is available here.

Canteen service Evere

The Scolarest/Compass company will inform the parents at Evere about the expected price for the school year 2024-2025.

School bus service Woluwe & Evere

APEEE expects a price increase between 4% and 6%.

For your information the annual school bus fee for 2023-2024 was €2.231,55 per child.

Extracurricular activities Woluwe & Evere

The APEEE works to keep prices stable but may increase prices for activities by up to 3% if the number of registrations is lower than expected. For swimming and ice-skating, prices may be increased by up to 10%. 

For your information: The prices for 2023-2024 which were priced individually per extracurricular activity, are available in your Secured Zone.

The registrations for transport and canteen services will start as of 14th June 2024.

The registrations for the extracurricular activities will start on 24th June 2024.

General Terms & Conditions 2024-2025

The APEEE has revised its Terms & Conditions which will be applicable as of the 2024-2025 school year. We highly recommend that you carefully read the Terms & Conditions which are available here. The revised topics concern the following:

1. Information on pricing regarding each of the APEEE services.
2. For the extracurricular activities the parents will be able, as of the school year 2024-2025, to benefit from the SWAP formula. This offers the possibility to change from one activity to another activity. May we kindly ask you to read the information carefully.
