‼️Woluwe Canteen Menu Modified 11/09/2025 & Closure 12/09/2025 ‼️

Due to electricity shortages in the school and therefore with our Woluwe kitchen equipment, the canteen team has adapted its meal to offer an alternative menu for today. In addition, due to the unpredictability of the school’s electricity supply, and the school’s electrical works starting tomorrow afternoon, the APEEE will close the canteen, cafeteria & teachers’ canteen, on Friday 12th September 2025.  

Alternative menu for 11/09/2025

Please note that due to the change in menu for today, there are changes in the announced list of allergens.

  • Vegetable mix with mayonnaise (carrots, peas, green beans, turnips, corn, white beans, flageolet beans, red beans, lemon juice) Allergens: eggs, mustard.
  • Fruit

Please note that for the pupils registered to the afterschool childcare services of the European Commission, there are no changes to the afternoon snacks’ menu.

Canteen & Cafeteria Closure – Friday 12th September 2025

Due to the ongoing unpredictability of the school’s electricity supply, the canteen, cafeteria, and teachers’ canteen will be closed on Friday 12 September 2025. Please provide a packed lunch to your child.

Please note the food cost will be deducted from the first trimester invoice.

The Maternelle & Primary Secretariats as well as the Secondary Educational Advisors have been informed. We understand the inconvenience this may cause and sincerely apologise for any disruption to your child’s meal arrangement. We thank you in advance for your understanding and patience. We will keep you informed of any developments on the situation.

🚍‼️Reminder that One-off, Temporary Changes or Extra Bus Stops are Currently Not Allowed. 🚍‼️

Because of the overcrowding and the increasingly limited number of spare seats in buses, we may not always be able to accept requests for occasional changes of bus (e.g. to visit another pupil, the doctor, a private teacher, or a sports club).

  • Between 1st and 30 September 

We will not allow any one-off or temporary change of bus.

  • From 1st October

Any one-off or temporary change of bus must be requested by sending an email to the Transport Office before 13:00 the day before at the latest, and will only be accepted based on the availability of seats.

Request for Extra Bus Stop

Requests for regular use of a different bus departing at the same time (13:00 – 15:30 – 16:20) will only be considered as of November and will be subject to the availability of seats in our buses. This does not concern children living alternate weeks with each parent (shared custody).

Requests for an additional stop must be renewed annually. After eventual acceptance, the approval may be withdrawn at any time during the school year in order to release a seat for a student to be transported to and from home.

 

Activités Périscolaires – Programme des activités

National Strike on 13th February 2025 📣

As announced in the national media, a strike will take place on 13th February 2025, which could cause disruption and create trafic.

The transport service will keep the concerned parents informed in real time about cancellations, absent supervisors, etc.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and patience during this exceptional circumstance. We will do our best to minimise disruption.

Grève nationale le 13 février 2025 📣🚌

Comme annoncé dans les médias nationaux, une grève aura lieu le 13 février 2025, ce qui pourrait entraîner des perturbations sur le réseau routier de la capitale.

Le service transport tiendra informé en temps réel les parents concernés au sujet d’annulation, absence de surveillants, etc.

Nous comprenons que cela peut causer des désagréments et nous tenons à vous remercier d’avance de votre compréhension et patience en cette circonstance exceptionnelle. Nous ferons de notre mieux pour minimiser les perturbations.
