The APEEE Canteen team serves 2,500 meals a day spread over 6 services. Everything is prepared on-site and served following the “all you can eat” principle.
All our menus are created in close collaboration with a dietician who verifies the respect of the nutritional pyramid as well as a balanced composition of calories. The fresh & homemade pasta is 100% organic. More information is available in our brochure.

For the registration of your child at the EVERE canteen, you will receive an email from the Scolarest-Compass team around the end of August containing the information related to your child’s registration, therefore you do not need to take any further steps until August.
The Scolarest-Compass catering team prepares the meals in our own kitchen and serves tasty and healthy meals, while ensuring that all health and safety measures are also respected.
Please note that no EVERE canteen registrations will be done via the APEEE Secretariat or APEEE Canteen. For more information about the canteen service in EVERE, please contact: euro.school.evere@compass-group.be

For reasons of infrastructure and personnel, a unique menu is offered. Indeed, it is not possible to set menus for diets or allergies.
However, according to the law in force, we have the possibility to communicate orally to anyone wishing if allergens are found in the dishes served. Internal procedure in allergens is displayed in the refectory and the cafeteria.
The APEEE takes food allergies very seriously. We are aware that a growing number of people suffer from such allergies and are committed to providing our canteen and cafeteria users with the information they need to have and whether they can eat a particular dish or not.
We provide this information in four ways:
Unfortunately, due to the small size of the food preparation area in the canteen, we do not have space to provide alternative dishes on the occasions when there are allergens present in our menu.
Whilst we do everything we can to avoid cross-contamination of allergens by keeping ingredients separate and work surfaces constantly clean, such a risk cannot be eliminated completely. We therefore need to inform you of this slight risk.
Our kitchens operate in full conformity with Belgian legislation and are regularly inspected by external parties. Our allergens policy is in conformity with Belgian legislation contained in the Royal Decree of the 17th of July 2014.
Whilst we are committed to delivering exactly the menu that is published 2 weeks in advance on the APEEE website, there may be circumstances that make this impossible, for example if a delivery does not arrive. If this happens, we will take the following actions to inform pupils and teachers:
The school has an allergy action plan document which all parents of children with allergies are asked to complete. Please ensure you have done this and have sent it to the school infirmary. This is extremely important. If you have any questions please contact the school nurses by sending a message to: wol-infirmerie@eursc.eu.
Substances or product causing allergies or intolerances
The following items are required to be notified if present in food:

Please note that the canteen service cannot be held responsible in the event of an incident.
Because of the overcrowding and the increasingly limited number of spare seats in buses, we may not always be able to accept requests for occasional changes of bus (e.g. to visit another pupil, the doctor, a private teacher, or a sports club).
We will not allow any one-off or temporary change of bus.
Any one-off or temporary change of bus must be requested by sending an email to the Transport Office before 13:00 the day before at the latest, and will only be accepted based on the availability of seats.
Request for Extra Bus Stop
Requests for regular use of a different bus departing at the same time (13:00 – 15:30 – 16:20) will only be considered as of November and will be subject to the availability of seats in our buses. This does not concern children living alternate weeks with each parent (shared custody).
Requests for an additional stop must be renewed annually. After eventual acceptance, the approval may be withdrawn at any time during the school year in order to release a seat for a student to be transported to and from home.
