APEEE Organisation for Friday 20th December 2024 📢🎄

We hereby would like to remind you that Friday 20th December will be a half day for all cycles, finishing at 12.50 pm. Please find below further details on the APEEE services. The Afterschool Childcare Centres will operate as usual, for more information, please contact OIB-CS2-SECRETARIAT@ec.europa.eu

Transport

Practical Details

  • Unique bus departure at 1.00 pm (from Woluwe/Evere to external afterschool childcare centres or home).
  • Important: buses will run with their Wednesday bus number.
  • Bus monitors will be present on all buses.

If you do not wish your child takes the bus, please inform your child and their teacher (if your child is in Nursery, P1, P2) for them to bring your child to the right area.

Important note: departures on both sites Woluwe and Evere are at 1.00 pm.

Extracurricular Activities & Supervision

The activities will be organised as a normal Friday. The APEEE will be offering occasional supervision from 12.30 to 3.30 pm & 3.30 pm to 6.30 pm. This supervision is a paying service and will be invoiced later on. If you wish to register your child for this supervision (if they are not already registered to supervision with/without activity), please do so via your Secured Zone. 

To register, follow the steps:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Click on “Occasional Supervision” on the righthand side
  3. Select the child for which you would like to book the supervision
  4. Enter the information, click on “Submit“
  5. Done !

Canteen & Cafeteria

The Woluwe & Evere Canteen will be providing a warm meal to all Nursery & Primary students who are registered to the Canteen, before the bus departure / Extracurricular activity & Supervision / Afterschool Childcare (OIB). 

Please note that this meal is not included for P3, P4 & P5 in the termly Woluwe canteen subscription and will be invoiced at a later date.

S1 & S2 pupils who are registered to an Extracurricular activity or Afterschool Childcare (OIB) are kindly requested to bring their packed lunch. Please note, the cafeteria will be closed.

🚍‼️Reminder that One-off, Temporary Changes or Extra Bus Stops are Currently Not Allowed. 🚍‼️

Because of the overcrowding and the increasingly limited number of spare seats in buses, we may not always be able to accept requests for occasional changes of bus (e.g. to visit another pupil, the doctor, a private teacher, or a sports club).

  • Between 1st and 30 September 

We will not allow any one-off or temporary change of bus.

  • From 1st October

Any one-off or temporary change of bus must be requested by sending an email to the Transport Office before 13:00 the day before at the latest, and will only be accepted based on the availability of seats.

Request for Extra Bus Stop

Requests for regular use of a different bus departing at the same time (13:00 – 15:30 – 16:20) will only be considered as of November and will be subject to the availability of seats in our buses. This does not concern children living alternate weeks with each parent (shared custody).

Requests for an additional stop must be renewed annually. After eventual acceptance, the approval may be withdrawn at any time during the school year in order to release a seat for a student to be transported to and from home.

 

Activités Périscolaires – Programme des activités

National Strike on 13th February 2025 đź“Ł

As announced in the national media, a strike will take place on 13th February 2025, which could cause disruption and create trafic.

The transport service will keep the concerned parents informed in real time about cancellations, absent supervisors, etc.

We understand that this may cause inconvenience and would like to thank you in advance for your understanding and patience during this exceptional circumstance. We will do our best to minimise disruption.

Grève nationale le 13 février 2025 📣🚌

Comme annoncé dans les médias nationaux, une grève aura lieu le 13 février 2025, ce qui pourrait entraîner des perturbations sur le réseau routier de la capitale.

Le service transport tiendra informé en temps réel les parents concernés au sujet d’annulation, absence de surveillants, etc.

Nous comprenons que cela peut causer des désagréments et nous tenons à vous remercier d’avance de votre compréhension et patience en cette circonstance exceptionnelle. Nous ferons de notre mieux pour minimiser les perturbations.
