APEEE Transport: Back to School 2024-2025

Dear parents,

We are happy to start a new school year 2024-2025 with you and hope you have had a nice summer holiday. In preparation of your children’s first day back to school, please find below information on the organisation of the APEEE Transport service.

Please find below a recap of how the APEEE school bus service will be operating for this school year.

  • School buses will be operating as normal from the morning service from the first day of school, Wednesday 4th September onwards. For the first day of school, the return home departure is exceptionnally set between 1 pm and 1.10 pm.

Delays may occur on the first days of school. We apologise for this inconvenience and thank you in advance for your patience. Please make sure your child and their teacher (if your child is in Nursery and Primary) know the bus number that they need to take in the afternoon. We highly recommend adding the information to your child’s school agenda or until receiving the agenda, on a paper in their school bag, clearly indicating the information.

School buses will be open to all pupils who are registered for the services.

Bus routes and stops have been re-planned to ensure as much as possible for the maximum journey time to remain around 1 hour for pupils. This means that your bus route number or bus stop location and timetable may have changed. Thank you to verify your transport details in your Secured Zone.

Please note, some bus stops may have changed to the other side of the road so please check location carefully.

Secondary pupils may use the 3.30 pm bus service only if there are seats available. If there are not sufficient seats available, they will be invited to take the 4.20 pm service. Secondary pupils accompanying a sibling in the Nursery or Primary section have priority over other Secondary pupils for the 3.30 pm service.

Only Secondary students allowed to leave the bus alone can take the 4.20 pm bus as supervisors are not present yet on all buses. Please note that the 4.20 pm buses have a different bus number than the 3.30 pm buses.
