We would like to take the opportunity of this first school year newsletter to thank the parents, the school administration, the teachers and supervisors for their help and implication through the issues, unexpected & last minute events. This first month has been harder than what we expected! The transport situation turned out to be especially difficult and we are really sorry for that. By now, the bus lines are running according to schedule most of the time. We would like to assure you that our Teams are constantly working to better our services, to remedy and provide solutions whenever necessary. The teams are currently working through the emails received, therefore if you have not yet received a reply, please bear with us, we will come back to you as soon as we can! The class representatives’ elections are currently or will be taking place in Evere and in Woluwe. To provide as much information as needed to possible candidates, the APEEE wishes to detail the role of the class representatives. In primary and secondary, 4 representatives can be elected. The class representatives are the vital link between the members of the Association’s Board and the rest of the parents. They also play an essential role in the communication with the school. Do not hesitate to read our article on what the role entails. We hope you will consider standing for your class! If you wish to have more information, do not hesitate also to contact your Board representatives. Interview with Ms Giannakopoulou 👩🏽🏫Ms Alexia Giannakopoulou is the new Deputy Director for Nursery and Primary in Woluwe. This year will be her first school year at EEB2 ! For this occasion, Maija Knutti, Coordinator of the Educational Council for Primary and Nursery (CEP&M) interviewed Ms Giannakopoulou and inquired about how the first few weeks of 2023-2024 went, the main upcoming challenges, her role as Deputy Director and an insight into her projects, hobbies and background. To pre-order your food simply go to the cafeteria between 08:00 to 10:30 and select your food/snack choices, pay, and set the time (from 10:30 onwards) you will pick up your order, as simple as that. At your chosen pick up time use the pre-ordered line to collect your order. As of 10:30 pupils can only buy cold food & drinks and no warm food will be available. We really do hope that you will stop by between 8:00 and 10:30 to pre-order your food/snack and save yourself some time! All you Evere Wanted to Know: Evere Canteen ManagerAs you may know, the APEEE has decided to highlight members of the school community. We are happy to present Ms Isabelle Panneels, manager of the Evere canteen.
