This year was full of challenges such as the preparations for the temporary move of some primary classes from Woluwe to Evere next school year. The APEEE services worked hard on reducing the logistical burden for the families concerned, I understand however that despite all our efforts challenges remain. The APEEE will continue monitoring the situation and will adapt its services as far as possible where needed, so your feedback will be important. Looking ahead into the first half of next school year, three important events will take place:
For all these events I count on your participation. We will keep you informed. But before any of that I wish you and your children fantastic holidays. Best regards, Wolfgang Münch Last Day OrganisationFriday 7th July 2023 is the the last day of school. Morning buses will run as usual and there will be one departure at 11h for all students registered to the bus service and to the European Commission Afterschool Childcare Centres, with bus monitors on board. There will be no canteen service and no extracurricular activities or supervision. To know at what time your child’s bus will arrive at your stop, you need to transpose the time it usually takes in the afternoon. Example: a normal departure at 15h30 with an arrival at 15h50 at a stop (20 mins bus ride) on Friday 7th July, a departure at 11h means the bus will arrive at 11h20 at the stop. Reminder : Automatic Renewal of RegistrationsIf your children are already enrolled in our Transport and/or Canteen services, they will automatically be re-enrolled for 2023-2024 and you do not need to take any action, unless you wish to make changes to your registration (see below). Please note, if you are leaving the school at the end of the school year 2022-2023 and have informed the School and APEEE, your registrations will be cancelled on the 8th July 2023 and removed from our database on the 30th August 2023. Thank you for your understanding. APEEE Service Registrations for 2023-2024Have you logged into the new Secured Zone? Did you know that since the 13th March you can create your new account in our new APEEE Secured zone, check your personal details and your children's activities and/or services? The Services' registrations have launched, including the possibility to modify or change their existing registrations for next year. Do not forget, without your access to the new Secured Zone, no services will be available for your child next school year (2023-2024). Do you need a hand?
If you need extra help, do not hesitate to visit our website and dedicated pages on registrations for Woluwe & Evere before reaching out to the team! Extracurricular Activities : Open Doors at Woluwe 🎉🎭🏀Many activities and small workshops were organised in different areas in the school. Firstly, in the sports hall for judo, karate, aerial silk, capoeira, and badminton! Congratulations on the great demonstration. We know how anxious it can be to present what you have learned in front of a big crowd, so we wish to congratulate all our students! Secondly, In the Primary building, where our students showed how well they know how to play saxophone, clarinet, guitar, drums, flute and piano. Our teachers are very proud of their students and what they have accomplished during the 2022-2023 school year. There was also a possibility for the new students and parents to talk to the music teachers and try some instruments. Workshops of several activities including drawing, chess, comic strip, art and craft, painting were held in the Chapiteau, where parents could exchange with the teachers and speak about their child’s wish to continue (or not), how good they are doing in the activity and much more! The cafeteria was also opened for parents, pupils, and children to come buy a snack, food, a refreshment (ice-cream !) and beverages. Thank You to All Parent Volunteers !The APEEE would like to thank all the parents who took time off to organise, participate and take time to help out in different aspects of the school community The parent volunteers play a key role in enabling the APEEE to organise events and activities such as the Footfest Tombola, the Foodfest, Eurêka but also the Secondhand Book Sale and more! Happy Summer Holidays ! 🌞 |
